About AndMar Education

AndMar Education is a division of NCREEI owned by Erin and Mel Black. We offer initial licensing or qualifying education for appraisal and many high quality Continuing Education classes. We also offer online continuing education for appraisal and real estate continuing education.

Mel Black is the former Executive Director of the North Carolina Appraisal Board, a former education officer at the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, and a practicing NC attorney. As an attorney in private practice, Mel specializes in administrative law including representing clients before various licensing boards. Mel has written several 7-hour continuing education classes and is an AQB approved USPAP instructor.

Erin Black is a former educator and public school administrator. She received her B. A. degree from Wellesley College and her M. S. A. from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.  She is currently AndMar Education director and webmaster.
